SAFED Training - Van
SAFED Van Driver Training Courses can help reduce fuel, insurance and maintenance costs, reduce occupational road risk and make your drivers and vehicles more efficient.
SAFED courses are geared towards Safe And Fuel Efficient Driving. The course is backed by the Department of Transport and is recognised by many fleet insurance companies.
Venue:
This is usually your own premises, though conference facilities can be arranged.
Duration:
Dependant upon training needs. For most new customers we recommend a half day per driver. Once drivers are trained, we can reduce this depending upon their standard, to a minumum of 4 drivers per day.
Cost:
Commercial cost - £350/day
Contact a SAFED training provider (in the “Fleet Training” section at the bottom of the right sidebar) and you may find that your company is eligible for government subsidies to help with the cost of training.
Benefits:
If drivers are encouraged to use the training on an ongoing basis, then there should be cost savings of around double the cost of the course.
Company ethos can have a huge effect on how well this training works - engaging the whole company in the process can amplify the savings.
