DSA registered Fleet Driver Trainers

Fleet Registered Driving Instructor’s Badge

DSA registered Fleet Driver Trainers are already Approved Driving Instructors who have then undergone three further exams (theory, driving & instructional ability) to ensure that they are capable and prepared to train full license holders.

Fleet ADIs must undergo a check test designed around training company drivers on a regular basis, depending on their grading at their previous check test.

The grading system starts with grade 4 and the highest grade (held by less than 10% of ADIs) is a grade 6.

Though it is not a legal requirement for an ADI to be Fleet Registered to train full licence holders and company car drivers it is recommended.

Find DSA Approved Fleet Driver Trainers.

DSA ADIs who want to become Fleet Registered Driver Trainers will need to pass the three DSA fleet exams, or take one of the DSA approved Fleet Diploma courses. For more information on how to qualify - see our ADI Fleet Training Course page.
