Skid Pan
Skid Training and car control courses can be undertaken either on traditional wet skid pans, or in specially adapted skid cradle cars.
Skid avoidance training is an essential part of these courses, to enable drivers to spot potential problems with road surfaces or conditions early, anticipating a lack of traction and in the worst circumstances controlling their vehicle in the event of a skid.
Courses at skid pans across the UK can be arranged, or adapted skid cradle cars can be brought to local venues. Company car parks are often suitable.
As with all car driver training it must be carried out using DSA ADIs to ensure it’s legality and all of the companies we recommend have fully qualified skid control instructors.
