Risk Assessment
New Driver Risk Assessments for company drivers are often undertaken as part of the interview process for new employees. For companies with established drivers, driving assessments are essential to ensure compliance with H&S regulations.
Driving risk assessments can be combined with basic training to ensure that your drivers understand their responsibilities. Simple assessments can be carried out in around an hour and when combined with basic training (which covers around 75% of drivers needs) these assessments usually take around half a day.
Full reports on the legality of the driver’s license, eyesight checks and driver risk profile are provided to you after the assessment has taken place. These reports also include a full assessment of the driver’s ability and attitude, as well as recommendations for any further training if necessary.
Trainers will also assess the drivers’ understanding of company policy where required and fleet training companies can often help with consultancy regarding policy documents and putting safeguard systems in place.
