DSA Trailer Handling Training
Anyone who does not have a B+E entitlement on their driving licence must now take a trailer handling test. This test is very similar to a driving test, but with a trailer on the back. Anyone without the B+E entitlement (shown on the back of the photocard license) is no longer automatically licensed to tow medium to large trailers.
Venue:
Training can take place anywhere. Test takes place at a DSA B+E driving test centre.
Duration:
Dependent upon training needs.
Cost:
From around £40/hour.
Benefits:
Candidates can take their B+E test. Reduces road risk when towing. Removes risk of prosecution for driving while unlicensed. Gives an employer more flexibility in their drivers.
